Week 15 delivered another entertaining slate, with impactful storylines across the league. The playoff push intensified, key divisional games took center stage, and the unexpected return of Philip Rivers stole some of the spotlight. Let’s dive into what we saw.
Bills 35, Patriots 31
The Buffalo Bills pulled off an epic comeback after falling behind 21–0 early. Josh Allen led the charge with multiple second half touchdown drives, as Buffalo scored on five straight possessions to secure the win. The comeback snapped New England’s 10 game winning streak and tightened the AFC East race, keeping the Bills firmly in playoff contention and within reach of the division title once again.
Chargers 16, Chiefs 13
In a gritty, defensive battle, the Los Angeles Chargers edged the Kansas City Chiefs 16-13. The Chargers chipped away with a late touchdown and a pair of field goals, while Justin Herbert kept drives alive despite dealing with injury issues. The loss eliminated the Chiefs from playoff contention and was compounded by Patrick Mahomes suffering a season-ending ACL tear, marking a dramatic end to KC’s long postseason streak.
Jaguars 48, Jets 20
The Jacksonville Jaguars put on an offensive clinic, overwhelming the New York Jets from the opening drive. Jacksonville jumped out to an early lead and never let up, piling on points in all four quarters. The Jags’ quarterback spread the ball efficiently, while the run game consistently broke through a Jets defense that struggled to get stops. Trevor Lawerence is doing everything in his power to prove why he was the 1st overall pick and it seems to be working as the The Jaguars’ dominant win kept them firmly in the AFC playoff picture and sent a message that their offense can be explosive when firing on all cylinders.
Texans 40, Cardinals 20
The Houston Texans dominated early and never looked back against the Arizona Cardinals. C.J. Stroud threw three touchdowns and Houston raced to a 17-0 lead, while rookie Jawhar Jordan made a splash with a 100+ yard rushing debut. The Texans’ defense as per usual also made life tough on the Cardinals throughout the 20 point routing.
Seahawks 18, Colts 16
In a strange scoreline, the Seattle Seahawks won without a touchdown as kicker Jason Myers drilled six field goals, including a clutch 56-yarder with under 20 seconds left. The top story from the weekend was Philip Rivers’ return. The 44-year-old threw for 120 yards, including a passing touchdown, but the interception late in the game stole the spotlight from Rivers’ emotional return as the Seahawks held off the Colts.

Rams 41, Lions 34
The Los Angeles Rams outlasted the Detroit Lions in a high-scoring thriller. Detroit jumped out to a halftime lead, but LA rallied with a big second half. Matthew Stafford threw for big yardage, tight end Colby Parkinson caught two touchdowns, and Puka Nacua posted a huge receiving night. With the win, the Rams clinched a playoff berth and solidified their NFC standing.
Vikings 34, Cowboys 26
On Sunday Night Football, the Minnesota Vikings upset the Dallas Cowboys. Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy threw two touchdowns and added a rushing score, including the go-ahead TD from C.J. Ham late in the 3rd quarter. The loss was a huge blow to Dallas’ slim playoff hopes, leaving them needing help and wins down the stretch.
Rocket TD Picks
I'm back to tell you that I only hit 1 of my 2 touchdown scorers last week which seems to be an ongoing trend, I'm about as due as anyone can ever be, but I will try again and see what I can come up with.
Mark Andrews: More than 0.5 Rush + Rec TD
Ravens TE has been a solid option all year. In a game where Baltimore will likely be playing from behind against the Patriots, the passing game should be active, giving Andrews a strong chance to find the end zone.
Zach Charbonnet: More than 0.5 Rush + Rec TD
The Seahawks were held scoreless against the Colts, so this week we’re leaning on their strong running game in a crucial divisional matchup.

These take us to a 4.6 multiplier, hoping, praying, doing anything I possibly can to see a win come across this week.
