The Kroger Family of Companies Associate Showdown: Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions for The Kroger Family of Companies Associate Showdown. The contest is a private weekly fantasy football salary cap game that also includes a season-long leaderboard.

Eligibility and Participation

• Who can enter: The contest is open only to The Kroger Family of Companies associates who have access to the private contest link. Participants must have a verified OwnersBox account and be at least 18 years old. If your local jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age for participation in contests, you must meet that age requirement.

• Excluded states: To be eligible, you must be a legal resident physically located in the United States (including Washington D.C.) or Canada. The contest is void in certain "Excluded States," which include Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New York, and Washington. When you deposit funds, make a withdrawal, or enter contests, you must not be physically located in any of these Excluded States.

• Entry Fee and Limits: The entry fee for the weekly contest is $5 USD. Only one entry is permitted per week.

• Promotional Period: The contest runs every Sunday from October 12, 2025, to January 4, 2026, corresponding to NFL Week 6 through Week 18.

Contest Format

• Weekly Salary Cap Contest: The weekly contest is a paid fantasy sports, single entry, OwnersBox Salary Cap contest.

• Season-Long Leaderboard: In addition to the weekly contest, participants' fantasy points are tallied on a "Season-Long Leaderboard." Your final leaderboard score will be based on the best 10 out of your 13 weekly results. Prizes and Prize Delivery

• Weekly Salary Cap Prizes: For a 1000-entrant contest, prizes range from $250 for 1st place to $5 for those who place 76th through 344th. The contest size and payout of the “The Kroger Family of Companies Associate Showdown” may vary by week based on engagement and game availability. A full prize breakdown will be disclosed in the Contest Details of each weekly contest. For the first week, there is a guaranteed $2,500 prize pool.

• Season-Long Leaderboard Prizes: Winner will be determined by January 7, 2026. The top three highest scoring participants on the Season-Long Leaderboard will receive the following, subject to providing proof of employment and a completed W9:

  • 1st Place: $3,000 Delta Gift Card

  • 2nd Place: $1,000 Visa Gift Card

  • 3rd Place: $500 Visa Gift Card

  • Note: All Gift Cards are subject to their applicable terms and conditions.

• Proof of Employment: All participants who qualify to win the Season-Long Leaderboard Prizes will be required to provide proof of employment by The Kroger Family of Companies.

• Taxes: All participants are responsible for any applicable local, state, or federal taxes on their winnings. If the potential winner is a resident of the United States of America or DC, he/she will be required to complete and return, within ninety-six (96) hours of notification, an IRS W-9 tax form (the “W9”), which will require the potential winner to furnish his/her TIN for the sole purpose of tax reporting, as required by law.

General Conditions

• By participating, you agree to these terms and the OwnersBox General Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

• This promotional offer is non-transferable.

• By having an OwnersBox account you are representing and warranting that:

  • You are of 18 years of age or older (or the minimum age for permissible use in your jurisdiction) and at the time of game entry you are physically located in a jurisdiction in which participation in the Contest is not prohibited by applicable law or these terms and conditions;

  • You are not listed on any governmental list of prohibited or restricted parties;

  • You will abide at all times with these terms and conditions and any other agreements between you and OwnersBox regarding your use of the Services (as defined in the General Terms of Service);

  • You are not subject to backup withholding tax from any governmental authority;

• OwnersBox may, at any time, make minor amendments to this promotion to correct typographical errors or to improve on clarity or customer experience and may cancel this promotion for legal or regulatory reasons.

• OwnersBox reserves the right to suspend, modify, and/or cancel this promotion upon notice to and approval from the applicable jurisdiction regulators located in the respective eligible jurisdiction.

• Any customer who is found to be ineligible to play on OwnersBox immediately forfeits any prizes or bonus rewards which have been awarded.

• OwnersBox can exclude customers or withhold prizes if it suspects fraudulent activity or violations of these terms and conditions and/or the General Terms of Service.

• Daily fantasy sports are for entertainment purposes only. Winning a contest on OwnersBox depends on knowledge and exercise of skill.
